Who We Are

Who We Are

Orlando Open Kingdom PCA (OKPCA) is the growing multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-generational English Ministry of Orlando Korean Presbyterian Church in America.

Our vision is to see God’s diverse and scattered people brought together through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Orlando OKPCA ultimately exists to glorify God through the transforming work of the gospel of Jesus Christ in Orlando and to the world.

Our History

Orlando Korean Presbyterian Church in America was founded in 1993. In Korean, OKPCA’s name means “Serving Church.” In all of this, OKPCA is a church Toward God, Toward the World, and Toward the Next Generation.

In 2016, Orlando Open Kingdom PCA was birthed with the hope of seeing God’s diverse and scattered people in Orlando being gathered together through the gospel of Jesus Christ. In a world that stresses unity, we firmly believe that it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ alone that can bring a diverse people together as one. With this we strive to be “a family comprised of many families.” Our vision has been to be a congregation that reflects Revelation 7:9, a truly multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-generational congregation. By the grace of God, we invite for all to come, see and join in the wonderful work God is doing through the gospel of Jesus Christ here at Orlando Open Kingdom PCA.

Our Denomination

OKPCA is a member church of the Korean Southeastern Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in American (PCA).

The PCA is a denomination committed to its Historical Presbyterian, Reformed and Confessional roots. Our denomination subscribes to the Westminster Standards (Westminster Confession of Faith, Shorter Catechism, and Larger Catechism). The doctrines expounded in the Westminster Standards faithfully and helpfully expound the eternal truths of Scripture. In sum, the motto of the PCA is: "Faithful to the Scriptures, True to the Reformed Faith, Obedient to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ."
